In honor of our friend, the turkey

Dateline: Thu 22 Nov 2012

This little ditty was sung at a day care in Evansville so many years ago it doesn't even exist on YouTube.

This is your chance to be a star; make a recording, post it and you'll have a flock of followers.

For the rest of us, here is the old-school print version -- no doubt, you will figure out a tune, sort of a country strut:

"I'm a mighty fine turkey and I've come to say
Gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble
I strut thru the barnyard all the long day
And my head goes bobble bobble bobble
When Thanksgiving comes I run around
And my legs go wobble wobble wobble
I stay real still so I won't be found
Then I go gobble gobble gobble!"

Thanks to Pat Wells for singing this every year, and without the benefits of a glass of wine or a shot of bourbon, even.
