Former Indianapolis Star columnist and religion writer John Shaughnessy will regale Irvington with tales o' the old sod, and more, at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Irvington Library -- that's the word from former Star entertainment reporter Rita Rose, who blogs about East Indy for the Star newspaper.

Being Irish-American Catholic raised in Irvington, and living next door to it now, 1:00 Sat. at the Irvington library with John S., sounds like a grand old place to be. Thanks for this notice, Roth H.
