Betsy Caulfield passes

Former Indianapolis Star librarian Betsy Caulfield died Dec. 21 at the age of 67 in Bloomington, where she and her husband lived after she retired.

Betsy's obituary was in the Star Sunday. She died of a massive stroke.

Betsy was a Quaker who was dedicated to a gentler, better lifestyle, according to the obit. As a librarian, she was efficient, kind, helpful and knowledgable.

"An avid recycler and a vegetarian, Betsy was a caring, selfless individual who sought to make the world a better place. She has made a difference in many lives."
