Oh, dear, what can the matter be?

Dateline: Thu 09 Nov 2006

During the campaign, two candidates out here in the Western part of the state were asked to participate in the standard-forum community debate.

A question involved their views on sexual orientation in the context of same-sex marriage.

Both gentlemen were 60-something, white, male and rural.

Neither knew what sexual orientation meant.

Ain't God good to Indiana?

Yes, one of those gents was elected.

Will the legislator who can define sexual orientation please stand up?
