Cats gone wild

Dateline: Sun 10 Dec 2006

A friend and sister cat-lover (Hello Scarlett dahling) sent the following link to an article about a cat circus, the Moscow Cats Theatre. The source is the Detroit Free Press:

Please, no PETA complaints. First, the show is in Russia and the cats play their way through their paces, or not. I know, I know, that's what they always say. But have you ever tried to get a cat to do anything? Do you know why police work with dogs and not cats?

Anyhow, the story is a hoot: the legend is that it started with the Russian (Yuri Kuklachev) finding one sick cat in the streets and nursing her back to health. He started to play with her and saw her talent for acrobatics, etc.

One thing led to another, and now it's cats on parade. (I believe it because we saw a show in Thailand that featured chickens, goats, pigeons and elephants -- you think animals aren't hams?
